Impasto Gel Mediums are used to increase the body of your acrylic colour, which greatly improvesthe surface tension and mark retention of the paint. This gives you the opportunity to work with greater amounts of texture, get stiff peaks and curls on brush and knife marks and build thicker layers of colour much more easily.

Although this has a milky appearance in its fluid form, when mixed with acrylic colour it dries completely clear. Mix with colour as required for desired effect.
