Conte a Paris Carres Crayons work well on canvas, boards and all kinds of paper.
The square shape sticks are slightly softer in texture than pencils, making them excellent for sketching. They are similar to a soft pastel but the drying method and different composition makes the Conte a Paris Carres crayons slightly harder and oilier but not as stickyas oil pastels.
